University Translations is owned by TP Transcription Limited, specialist transcription in all world languages and translation solutions for companies, universities, professionals, individuals, government institutions, churches, hospitals and many others. Established in 2001 with many satisfied customers providing ongoing orders, recommendations and referrals.
Uniquely, our websites and companies donate 10% of our profits to charity via the Ten Percent Foundation and have been doing this since we started. We are DBS checked (UK government Disclosure and Barring Service), have BPSS clearance (UK government Baseline Personnel Security Standard), Cyber Governance Level 1 (GDPR compliance) and Cyber Essentials Plus accreditation. Our company is ISO 27001 accredited and annually audited by UKAS, and we operate ISO 27001, ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 compliant management systems. We have completed the NHS Data Security and Protection Toolkit assessment. We are an accredited Bloom supplier, on the ESPO framework as a transcription & translation supplier (as TP Transcription Limited), and we hold Cyber insurance as well as Professional Indemnity Insurance for up to £5 million. Our company is a preferred supplier to a wide range of UK universities.

Hi – I’m Jonathan. Many years ago I set up TP Transcription Limited, the company operating UniversityTranslations. I am a solicitor by profession, although non-practising these days. Interesting fact? I once set up a business called Pile of Mud. And it was.

Hello I’m Clare. I am the company secretary, which means you won’t see a lot of me on a day to day basis in the business. Full credit to Anna – she goes the extra mile for our clients and I get to do the administration work that follows! Interesting fact? I used to be a GP in North Wales many years ago!
